Microsoft is opening a new portal that helps teachers learn how to use Minecraft in lesson plans.  The game is one of the few that allows players to create as opposed to consume.  Teachers find a substantial amount of value in anything that can capture student's attention therefore they cannot ignore Minecraft. YouTube can be a very useful resource for teachers to learn anything they wish about Minecraft.  Those who are familiar with Minecraft content on YouTube would agree that there are numerous videos educators will want to stay away from. Engadget.com reports that Acer has just launched a stunning curved LCD with FreeSync technology built-in. Last week,  Samsung launched two new 4K monitors with FreeSync technology. FreeSync synchronizes the monitor's refresh rates to mitigate large jumps in the frame time which results in a much smoother viewing experience. Gamers are certain to enjoy the increase in responsiveness that FreeSync technology makes possible.

Apple Music senior director, Ian Roberts reports that iOS 8.4 will go live at 8 am Pacific this Tuesday, two hours earlier than Apple's usual iOS update release time. Beats 1, Apple's new radio station, will launch programming at 9 am this Tuesday.  The station will provide people around the world with a 24/7 streaming music station.  Beats 1 is led by former BBC DJ Zane Lowe.

An unmanned rocked by SpaceX exploded Sunday minutes after launch. Shenmue III's initial target was $2 million.  Once the game was announced during Sony's E3 press conference, it did not take much time for it to reach its goal.  The game set a new record as the fastest funded game in Kickstarter history. The problem is we are confused about exactly who is funding the game: Sony? Shibuya? Yu Suzuki released a letter explaining that the game is receiving outside funding but he states that all of the Kickstarter money is going to the developer. Suzuki explained that he would need to raise $10 million to create a game with open world features yet $10 million is not enough to make an open world game that is worth playing.  The Witcher 3 cost over $30 million to make and then $35 million was spent on marketing.

Dear Bungie, Luke Smith and Activision: It's sad when you realize you are not as important to someone as you thought you were. In response to a question from Eurogamer regarding emotes that are only available with the collector's edition of Bungie's expansion, The Taken King, Luke Smith states, "If I fired up a video right now and showed you the emotes you would throw money at the screen." In other words we are your puppets minus the strings? Are we just commodities that you can exploit for profit anytime you wish? You will not manipulate me, nor will you control me Mr. Smith. Bungie, the creators of Destiny are facing a PR nightmare after a controversial interview with Luke Smith went viral.  In the interview Smith defended the price tag on the new Destiny expansion pack releasing this fall called "The Taken King," which will offer numerous new items. The $80 Collector's Edition requires the purchase of the original game and first two expansions.  In addition, the digital and physical Collector's Editions are somehow priced the same despite the fact there are different items being offered. Just when you were thinking about forgiving Bungie, Activision announced a partnership with Red Bull that gives bonus XP and an exclusive mission in The Taken King with the purchase of a can.  The timing could not have been worst.  Destiny is money hungry and can care less about its loyal customers.

Facebook announced that individuals located in Canada, the United States, Peru or Venezuela can now sign up for Messenger without a Facebook account.  This update lets more people enjoy Facebook Messenger.   Messenger recently introduced its Video Calling feature as well.  Facebook offers video calling for free, similar to services like Skype, Viber and Google Hangouts.

Disney's consumers product division has been working on Playmation for the last three years.  Playmation is a wearable toy system which allows users to feel as though they are their favorite Disney-universe characters. The Playmation Starter Kit will be $120 when it launches this fall.

This morning, Microsoft announced the official launch of Office for Android.  The release includes Word, Excel, and Powerpoint designed specifically for the Android smartphone.

Sometimes the best thing to do is doing nothing at all. When you develop something that users love (mayorships) why would you take it away from them? When the Foursquare app was split into two separate apps, all the fun features were removed.  The company received numerous complaints and they have finally reversed their decision and brought back mayorships.

Rick Ross was arrest on kidnapping and assault charges around 6:30 am on Wednesday, June 24.  Ross' bodyguard was also arrested on the same charges. The incident in question occurred two weeks ago and involved Ross and an individual doing work on his homes (Evander Holyfield's previous residence). The assault charge is for pistol-whipping, and the kidnapping charge is because Ross and his bodyguard did not allow the man to leave his home. This is not the first time Ross has been arrested.  In 2011, Ross was arrested for marijuana possession in Louisiana.  He was issued a misdemeanor summons and released. It is clear that Rozay is still attempting to live that GTA 5 fast life.  F*** with me you know I got it!

Gotta love the fact that the characters in Batman Arkham Knight have evolved and grown older.  You do not see enough of this in video games these days.

Lexus has driven us closer to our Back to the Future 2 dreams with its latest video that features the company's new hoverboard.  It uses liquid nitrogen-cooled superconductors and permanent magnets to support an actual rider explaining the foggy mist coming off the board. HeadTrainer is a brain training app designed to help athletes improve cognitive functions in an effort to enhance athletic performance. The app is an iOS and Android mobile app with the intent to improve athletic performance through sharpening the mental functions of athletes.  HeadTrainer's motto is "Train Smart. Play Smart." If Alex Morgan is using the product we would definitely recommend it considering how good she has been playing lately.  She scored her first goal of the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup on Monday night, helping Team USA defeat Colombia 2-0 in the Round of 16.

There is nothing like a voice-controlled electronic that is actually efficient. So many of us are immediately reminded of our bank's voice recognition systems that make the phone call to our financial institutions all-the-worst. You will not have a similar experience with the Amazon Echo.  The device is smart, period.  It simply understands.  Voice recognition devices have come a long way and the Amazon Echo shows that substantial improvements have been made.

Have you ever sent an email by accident? Once, I so anxious to send an email that I sent it without adding content to the body of the message forcing me to include an apology in the follow up email. Gmail's Undo Send feature delays sending an email for 5 to 30 seconds in case you change your mind.

The Retro Arcade Museum was located in Beacon, NY.  The museum has tons of pinball and arcade games that date back to the 1950s.  Some of my very favorite games at the museum were Pong and Frogger. The Retro Arcade Museum was shut down in 2010 due to a law in Beacon, NY that banned pinball arcades.  The museum was shut down after being open for only 18 months.  The arcane law that was used to close the museum came about because lawmakers at one point though pinball was run by the mafia, encouraged gambling, corrupted innocent youth, and attracted a bad elements. What can we do to change these arcane laws nationwide?

The Internet in Australia has just experienced its darkest day ever.  The entertainment industry is wearing a smile that is so large that you can see its back teeth!  The funniest element of the entire situation is that the battle will continue, and the only individuals that truly win at the end of the day are the lawyers. Australia's senate passed a controversial bill allowing sites hosted overseas that distribute pirated material to be blocked at the ISP level.  Do you think the United States will attempt to do the same?

Project Cars 2 is raising money on the World of Mass Development platform.  After numerous delays, Project Cars finally released in May.  To ensure that we do not have to deal with similar delays, everyone should donate !

Playstation Blog , reports that the Early Access period for Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward has started! It is Final Fantasy XIV's first expansion pack yet it is unlike other MMO expansions.  Instead of being level locked it's story locked: You will have to complete all of the main story quests leading up to Heavensward before you're able to access the new areas, unlock the 3 new professions and play with additional features like flying mounts.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is an upcoming action role-playing game developed by Square Enix releasing for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One. Kingdom Hearts 3 will be the first Kingdom Hearts game to be featured on a Microsoft platform.  Square Enix producer Tetsuya Nomura recently revealed that there will be no Quick Time Events, or Reaction Commands. Square Enix announced that Kingdom Hearts shall now be playable in mobile phones with the all new Kingdom Hearts Unchained X.

No Man's Sky uses an innovative technology to mathematically generate new worlds for players to explore.  The formula-based procedural generation allows users to play the game online or offline. The galactic simulator allows players to create and define their own experience and then share their discoveries online.  The game's theme is discovery therefore the developers at Hello Games have only provided limited amounts of information because they want players to experience the game and make epic discoveries on their own.

The Raspberry Pi 2 laptop is a new hardware kit coming from Pi Top.  It is an uncased computer that is being used by drones, robots, gadgets, tablets and desktops. The kit includes a moulded case that allows users to build the laptop from scratch.  It also comes with 3D printed files, meaning a personalized case can be printed out. We also recently discovered that the Raspberry Pi 2 might be able to run Windows 10, and it would be freely available to customers.

Google has full control of our computers and now the company is attempting to take control of our televisions with Android TV.  The TV is a large version of Android's smartphone operating system and enables users to tell the television what it wants to watch and it will find the best results from its library and apps. The Nvidia Shield is perfect for gamers and users who want to stream their PC games into the living room.  The 16GB model is priced at $200 while the 500GB version will be $300.

Electronic Arts continues to provide us with epic games.  Star Wars Battlefront features a game mode that was inspired by the Battle of Hoth and focuses on the Empire's AT-AT assault vehicles approaching a Rebel base. The third major release in the Star Wars Battlefront series, it is being developed by DICE.  You'll be able to battle in 40 multiplayer battles similar to The Battle of Hoth.  The game is scheduled to release on November 17, 2015. Robert Bryant First off I’d like to say that none of this information is intended for illicit activity. This guide is simply to help those who have locked themselves out of their Mac, or have purchased a Mac from someone who did not give them the password. The initial method of hacking EFI Firmware / iCloud Locked Macs is with a device called the Teensy. This device costs about $30 on eBay and plugs into the USB port on your mac. The Teensy works by brute force attacking the 4 digit pin code, trying every combination of 4 digits. Apple circumvented this by enabling a 6 digit code. Later revisions of the Teensy now cost more and also do 6 digit brute force attacks. The real hitch I ran into with the Teensy is that it only works to unlock iCloud locked Macs. If you have a locked EFI Firmware Password, and can not boot into the iCloud login, for all intents and purposes you are yet again stuck.
