Telltale Games absolutely dominated the opening day of Minecon.  The company released its first trailer for the company's episodic Minecraft-based narrative adventure series, Minecraft, Story Mode. Players will control Jesse (comedian Patton Oswalt) a man who must find the legendary adventurers, the Order of the Stone because terror is unleashed. Jesse and his adventurers slayed Ender Dragon, the famous boss in the original game. Minecraft: Story Mode will be offered in the form of PC, PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, Xbox One, iOS and Android.

Microsoft is opening a new portal that helps teachers learn how to use Minecraft in lesson plans.  The game is one of the few that allows players to create as opposed to consume.  Teachers find a substantial amount of value in anything that can capture student's attention therefore they cannot ignore Minecraft. YouTube can be a very useful resource for teachers to learn anything they wish about Minecraft.  Those who are familiar with Minecraft content on YouTube would agree that there are numerous videos educators will want to stay away from.
