KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes that a rose gold Apple watch will be released to match the new rose gold iPhone.

An Apple report earlier this year indicated that Apple experimented with platinum casings for the Apple Watch.  This includes anodizing aluminum in either yellow gold or rose gold.

Widening the Apple Watch market will always be a goal for Apple moving forward therefore adding additional color options would be a smart move.

According to tech market researcher IDC demand for the Apple Watch is growing.  The Apple Watch is the device that other wearables will be measured against forcing the company's competition to up their game to stay on the leading edge of the market.
