As Note 5 specs continue its is natural to attempt to compare it to the iPhone 6.  You may want to wait until we know more about the iPhone 6s Plus before making your final decision between the two.

The iPhone 6 dimensions are 138.1 x 67 x 6.9 mm (5.44 x 2.64 x 0.27 in).  The iPhone 6 plus dimensions are as follows: 158.1 x 77.8 x 7.1 mm (6.22 x 3.06 x 0.28 in).

Note 5 Specs

The Note 5 specs that we are currently aware of include the Note 5's dimensions:  153.2 x 76.1 x 7.6 mm (6.03 x 3.00 x 0.30 in).  It is too early to make the most useful comparison since the iPhone 6 Plus is about a month away from its hitting store shelves.  The following image compares the iPhone 6 dimensions to the Galaxy s6 dimensions:

The iPhone 6 Plus' dimensions may be considered too large for some, it is 2 cm taller, 1 cm wider and 2 mm thicker than the iPhone 6 dimensions.

Kill Buzz

So it’s nearly 2 months after the iPhone 6 released and you still have your 5s.  You are no longer stacking every penny you see to save for it and you are pretty much content until the phone companies start giving them away.  The buzz has died down…or has it?

Do you all of a sudden think of Spongebob everytime you look at your 5s? Who would have thought? I use to love the design.  My 5s once felt small and user friendly, now it reminds me of a brick.  Although the iPhone 6’s design is reminiscent of the iPods, the slimmer frame is a nice touch.  At the end of the day, the iPhone 6 is a flattened 5s with rounded edges.

Substantial Change

There were no breath taking changes made to the iPhone 6.  Did the 5s set the bar too high? The larger display could be the deal maker or breaker: If you do not mind a device that may not fit in your pocket and you watch a large amount of videos, the iPhone 6 may be worth it.  On the other hand, if you are uncomfortable at all times (like me) and could not imagine being unable to fit a phone into the pocket of your jeans, then you may want to stick with the iPhone 5s.  iPhone 6 mini on the way Apple?

Talk and Surf

The only argument that the few BB owners left could possibly make was that their devices allowed them to talk and surf.  Thank you Apple.  The iPhone 6 now allows you to use your browser while you are on the phone.

Conclusion

If you play games and can benefit from more powerful hardware, the iPhone 6 is the device for you.  If you are one of the few people that still uses your phone for those simple things (ie phone calls) then the 5s is just fine.
