5 Reasons to Purchase Apple's New Macbook

ONE
The new MacBook is thinner than the MacBook Air at 13.1 millimeters.  Mashable has a very informative post on how the MacBook has thinned out over time.  This move may lead to a decrease in iPad sales.  Many MacBook users carry backpacks that are packed with a full-day's worth of items.  These individuals will greatly benefit from the thinner design.  5-subject, Five Star notebooks seem to be getting thicker and thicker every year whereas JanSport backpacks are becoming smaller!

TWO
The new MacBook has a new trackpad that Apple calls the Force Touch trackpad.  The Force pad has four sensors and it does not click down like traditional trackpads.  The trackpad has the ability to differentiate between a light tap and a deep press.

THREE
The new MacBook weighs 2 pounds, which is a pound lighter than the MacBook Air.  This is partly due to the fact that the new MacBook does not have a fan thanks to its Core-M power-saving technology.  The keyboard is nearly half-as-thin as the MacBook Air's keyboard.

FOUR
The new MacBook has fewer ports.  It only has one USB-C port and a normal headphone jack.  The following USB Type-C connector will be used to power the device as well as display output and transfer data.  Apple is attempting to abandon external connectivity ports in order to continue its pursuit to completely wireless devices.

Here is a very informative video about the new Macbook by Marques Brownlee:

FIVE
The new MacBook has an updated 10-hour battery.  More specifically, the new battery will last for 9 hours of web browsing or 10 hours of video playback.  Apple will not restrict the use of the MacBook's USB-C port by third-party accessories.
